Cartier makes its debut at Art Basel 2024.
While I’ve been deep in the crypto world for over four years, every so often, the fashion industry lures me back with an invite I simply can’t resist. When Cartier extended an invitation to their opening exhibition night, I knew it was one of those moments. Excited and curious about who might be in attendance, I made my way to the Miami Design District.
As I arrived, I was welcomed by two bell boys in Cartier’s signature hats, a red carpet stretched before me. Inside, the exhibition was a wonder—a multi-room maze filled with fascinating history about the Trinity ring, interactive installations, and endless photo opportunities.
As I wandered through, I met a few captivating individuals and soaked in the legacy of Cartier. Then, unexpectedly, the speakers crackled to life with a voice that electrified the room. “Hey Miami, this is Janelle Monáe. Are you ready to celebrate?!” I was momentarily confused—where was this energy coming from?
Turns out, the immersive exhibition culminated in a surprise rooftop party! Complete with Cartier champagne, signature cocktails, and passed hors d'oeuvres, the atmosphere was magnetic. The evening blended history, elegance, and revelry seamlessly—a true testament to Cartier’s ability to craft not just jewelry, but unforgettable experiences.

It’s an experience as timeless as the Trinity design itself.
