New York Fashion Week is here!

Over a decade ago, my inaugural experience with New York Fashion Week (NYFW) commenced with a glimpse of the iconic Tents at Lincoln Center on a cold and snowy February day. Sneaking into a Zac Posen show and attending a satellite sustainability event downtown marked my entry into this glamorous world of interesting people. Now, as NYFW returns this February 2024, it promises to be grander than ever before with so many entry points to catch a vibe.

Pro-tip: If you want to be invited to shows as an influencer, download GPS Radar to apply to shows, panels, and exclusive fashion events.

Beyond the catwalk is the vibrant NYFW community. Make your way downtown, which offers respite and inspiration through various fashion exhibitions. "Women Dressing Women" will be on display at The Met's Costume Institute. Another must-attend art event, The Museum at FIT, is currently showcasing "Statement Sleeves." For dinner plans, be sure to make reservations for Chef Kwame and the Polo Bar restaurants. For the full NYC fashion girl experience, spend the night or two at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking. The location will leave you at the center of everything and a straight route to LGA airport for those coming from out of town. What show or event did we miss?
