Taking a break from the art, ritzy parties and networking

"She's almost ready to come out," the method haircare team kept saying, making the reveal all the more exciting. Amongst the over-the-top art exhibitions, ritzy parties, traffic, and networking, the Moxy Hotel's courtyard was the perfect place to unwind with a refreshing cocktail, good food, and paint away. The theme of the afternoon was "ritual of expression and perception."

We took our seats while the Miami-based artist Samara Ash introduced the naked hair monster model. In walks a creature of perception—underneath the lavender satin robe was the most gorgeous coat of hair, full naked! Oohs and ahhs came from the crowd as all of us held out our phones to capture the moment. 

Double-clicking on capturing the moment, Samara shared how to sketch the hair monster with penmanship and watercolor techniques. It was fun to figure out how to create the lines and colors on canvas. Since NFTs are making a comeback, should I mint my hair monster artwork?
